Hobbs Heirloom® Premium 100% Wool Batting is a lightweight, breathable batting that breathes naturally and is comfortable for use in all climates, even hot and humid climates! It needles wonderfully, maintains loft and has exceptional resilience. It brings out a quilter’s piecing and stitching.

It is made of the finest superwashed wool in the world – this superwashing process successfully smooths the scales on the wool fibers, making it pleasant to the touch and less likely to shrink.

This product, while lightweight, is also strong and resists bearding and migration.

This batting may be stitched up to 4″ apart, and it is machine washable (once inside a quilt), with shrinkage of 3-5% expected.
