Knitted Hat in the Round - Advanced Beginner

If you've completed the Beginner Knitting course or if you have mastered the basics of knitting (knit and purl stitch) and want to take it up a notch, then this is the class for you. Over two sessions we will make the Spring Ahead Beanie by CozyUp Knits. The Spring Ahead Beanie is a great light weight hat this is just right for crisp fall days or chilly spring weather.

You will learn: German twisted cast on, reading a pattern and understanding common abbreviations, knitting in the round using the magic loop method, twisted ribbing, decreasing, weaving in ends

The Spring Ahead Beanie pattern

Required:

Know how to knit and purl
140 yards of DK (#3 light) weight yarn
4mm circular needle with 80cm flexible cord
Tapestry needle
1 stitch marker
