These Upcycled Teacups have been handcrafted to be used as pincushions. The top layer of fabric is linen for durability and machine cross stitched for beauty. Under which is a layer of cotton batting for easy piercing. And finally, a layer of walnut shells to keep your pins sharp.
The cup and saucer have been bonded together. There is a rare earth magnet at the base of the cup to hold a pair of snips just at the right position for an easy grasp.
